Dr. Denfield has a special interest in and is a member of the heart failure and cardiac transplant service within the division of Pediatric Cardiology. Her research interests are in clinical predictors of outcomes in pediatric heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and heart transplant. Restrictive cardiomyopathy and restrictive physiology in children have been particular interests and she has authored or been the senior author of a number of research outcome articles, invited articles, and book chapters on this topic.
