Personal Statement
As a staff academic pediatric radiologist, I am committed to provide the best care for the patients and families we serve in the safest manner possible and provide the best training to the training radiologists and other clinical trainees providing radiologic and clinical care of the future. In addition, in the course of my work, if there are clinical or radiologic questions that arise, I seek to be involved in clinically relevant research that will improve the quality and safety of care to the patients and families we serve as well as those needing similar care both nationally and internationally.
Clinical Interests:
Gastrointestinal and genitourinary congenital anomalies in children especially in regards to bowel obstruction and urinary tract obstruction in neonates. Diagnosis and radiologic management of anorectal malformations in neonates and young infants especially prior to definitive repair and diagnosis of stooling problems after repair.
Research Interests:
Diagnosis of anorectal malformations and bowel obstruction in neonates, poor functional outcomes in patients after repair of Hirschsprung Disease, feeding Intolerance in patients after episodes of Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Ultrasound in diagnosis of Vesicoureteral reflux.
