About
Dr. Vinson's clinical research focuses on learning and behavior problems seen in children with symptomatic and asymptomatic congenital cytomegalovirus infection, fragile X full mutations/pre-mutations/gray zone abnormalities, partial chromosome deletions/duplications, mosaic genetic syndromes, fetal drug and/or alcohol exposure, and industrial environmental exposures. As part of this focus, she studies the effects of various interventions for subtypes of dyslexia and reading problems. Dr. Vinson also looks for similarities in children with autism which would suggest an etiology and best treatment practice.
