All children need and deserve a safe and nurturing environment and caretakers in order to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. Parent/family education and support are fundamental to prevention of child maltreatment. My desire is to provide excellent, evidence based, and compassionate care with a family centered approach to children who may be the victims of child abuse and neglect.
Child physical abuse and neglect, in particular abusive head trauma, child torture, and nutritional neglect (acute and long term follow up), child sexual abuse, in particular non-acute examinations.
