Personal Statement
Rob’s care philosophy is centered on the principle of promoting education and empowerment of individuals and their families in an engaging environment to allow each person to maximize potential in both sport and life.
Prior to joining the Texas Children’s Hospital, Rob was a member of the Sports Medicine team at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Rob has special interest in pediatric patients with post concussive syndrome, neck pain, and operative and non-operative management of youth athletes with upper and lower extremity injuries.
Rob is a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University in Wisconsin and Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Additionally, Rob completed further training to become a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist from Myopain Seminars to utilize Trigger Point Dry Needling with his patients. Rob is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and utilizes these concepts with his patients.
In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, is a superhero fanatic, and is an owner of the Green Bay Packers.
