Renata Maricevich, M.D.  was born and raised in Recife, Brazil, where she received her Medical Degree from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. She moved to the United States to pursue training and completed General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, followed by Pediatric Craniofacial Fellowship of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Currently, she practices Pediatric Plastic, Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital. An Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Dr. Maricevich is also part of Vascular Anomalies team.  These centers aim to provide multidisciplinary care to patients with complex problems.  Her clinical and research interests are focused on cleft lip and palate surgery, breast surgery and vascular anomalies. She is also interested in Education and International Medicine.

Dr. Maricevich is board certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
