I am a pediatrician with specialized training to care for critically ill children of all ages. We take care of the sickest of the sick and see families in their most vulnerable moments. This requires a multidisciplinary approach where the clinical team must partner every day with each and every family to try to help their child. This is a special responsibility that I take very seriously.
My primary clinical interests lie with patient safety and quality improvement. I lead our group’s Sedation quality team evaluating our use of sedation medications in the unit. In addition, I have a long time interest in global health and capacity development in resource limited settings. I am working with the TCH Global HOPE program to train personnel and improve care in the Global HOPE sites.
