About

Meg Mathias is a registered and licensed dietitian who specializes in the treatment of adolescents with eating disorders, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and athletic performance needs. She provides nutrition education and counseling to patients and families while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team at large. She actively trains medical, graduate, and nutrition students and mentors dietetic interns. Meg enjoys giving lectures and presentations in the community and leading nutrition education groups for adolescents. She takes a non-diet approach to nutrition and is passionate about working with patients and their families to ensure they are properly nourished and reaching their specific dietary needs.  She also focuses on helping individuals make peace with food and cultivate a healthy relationship with activity and movement.  Her current research is focused on supporting better access to care for patients and families as well as encouraging improved care coordination among different disciplines.
