Dr. Bretz provides medical subspecialty care for teens and young adults at Texas Children’s Hospital. She believes that quality healthcare for adolescents is an investment in our future and is driven to empower patients and families to be well equipped as they face the challenge of transitioning from a preteen to an emerging adult. She works closely with Adolescent Medicine’s multidisciplinary team of nurses, dietitians, and psychologists to ensure patients receive coordinated, whole-person care. Dr. Bretz is engaged in medical education at various levels and believes that the best way to advance medicine is to raise up the next generation of physicians to be passionate life-long learners who are devoted to providing high quality care.
