Kris Marsack, MS, PA-C began her surgical career as a Plastic Surgery PA in 2005 with Baylor College of Medicine at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, TX with a focus on trauma and cancer reconstruction. She transitioned to the Pediatric Plastic Surgery team at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) in 2016 and has expanded her interests to caring for plastic surgery conditions in the pediatric population. She works alongside the Surgeon-in-Chief, Larry Hollier Jr. MD, in treating and caring for patients who are affected with general plastic surgery needs, including facial, hand, and vascular anomalies. Aside from her clinical responsibilities, she is also the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations for the Surgical Advanced Practice Providers and the Academic Director for the PA Surgical and Orthopedic Fellowships at TCH. She has been an Assistant Professor with Baylor College of Medicine since 2005. Kris received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame, received her Master of Science in Biology from Purdue University and then proceeded to obtain a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and medically licensed through the Texas Medical Board. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants (APSPA), and American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). She is currently the AAPA Medical Liaison to the ASPS and is a Director at Large for APSPA.
