Get to know Kevin W. Tien, MD
Dr. Kevin Tien started his pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training in 2021. Dr. Tien's interest in pediatric medicine began at a very young age and since that time, he continues to further his knowledge of the field to ensure all patients receive advanced care for their challenging conditions.
Pediatric hematology-oncology became a passionate interest of Dr. Tien's during medical school when he discovered what an incredibly fascinating and interesting field of science it entails. Regardless of whether his patient is a child or a young adult, Dr. Tien is an advocate who always wants to 'walk with our families' as they traverse a life-changing diagnosis.
He's interested in pediatric leukemia/lymphoma and non-neural solid tumors. He's particularly interested in clinical research centered around disparities related to cancer-related treatments, outcomes and morbidity.
