She is the editor of a new textbook, “Immune Hematology: Diagnosis and Management of Autoimmune Cytopenias,” to be published summer 2018 by Springer. Despotovic developed all the content and selected the authors for the textbook.

Dr. Jenny Despotovic's research is focused on improved understanding of the pathophysiology of pediatric immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). She is currently working on several clinical and translational projects related to efficacy and safety of novel ITP treatments in children, as well as investigating the mechanisms of response and toxicity in commonly used ITP treatments.
