About

Jenny Nguyen began her physical therapy career in outpatient orthopedics treating individuals with a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to non-surgical joint pain, post-surgical rotator cuff repairs, ACL repairs, meniscus repairs, meniscectomy, neck pain, and low back pain. Her treatment approach includes utilizing manual and sports specific exercise based techniques to accelerate the patient’s return to living without limitations due to pain. As she advanced in her career, she had an increased interest in pediatric sports, and joined the sports medicine team at West Campus. Her clinical interests include injury prevention for all populations, non-surgical and surgical management for lower extremity, and return to sports. She grew up doing multiple sports including track and field, cross country, soccer, and martial arts.

Jenny earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at University of St Augustine in Austin. She completed all manual courses offered through St. Augustine during her schooling. She is currently working towards becoming a Fellow in American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) and further specialization in sports with Institute of Athletic Regeneration (IAR). She earned her bachelor of science (BS) in Kinesiology and minor in Nutrition from University of Houston.
