I have always viewed caring for my patients from a holistic approach, which involves not just treating a disease. Part of my belief in the holistic approach is respecting the role of the patient and families in the treatment and recovery process. Therefore I enjoy partnering with families to create the best possible outcomes for our patients. As a provider, I am fiercely committed to the Texas Children's mission of creating a healthy future for children within our community. As a mother, I am invested in assuring that my patients receive the same level of care that I would expect for own my family.
My areas of interest include single ventricle physiology, heart failure, heart transplant, and promoting optimal neurodevelopment outcomes in patients with congenital heart disease.
