About

Dr. Hasmukh Prajapati is a Clinical Associate Professor Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Prajapati completed his last training in Pediatric Interventional radiology and Interventional Oncology from the Emory University Hospital in 2013. Dr. Prajapati is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Radiology with Certificate of Additional Qualification (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology.

Dr. Prajapati was the Director of Interventional Radiology Services at SPMCIR at St. Petersburg. FL from July 2013 to September 2015. Afterward, Dr. Prajapati was duly appointed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center and a Pediatric Interventionist Radiologist at the St. Jude Research Children’s Hospital and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in October 2015. He was promoted to associate professor at UTHSC in June 2018.

Dr. Prajapati is proud of receiving the Pioneers Award for the Scientific Paper on “Safety and efficacy of the Cryoablation of pulmonary and pleural metastases in pediatric patients” presented at 9th International SPIR meeting held on 20th to 22nd October 2021 at LA.

Dr, Prajapati is an editorial board member of the Global Journal of Medical Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Update. Dr. Prajapati is an author of more than 100 scientific peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations at top-ranked national and international journals and conferences.

Clinical and Research Interests:

Dr. Prajapati performs all types of interventions in children. His expertise, clinical and research interests include interventions for pediatric cancer, lymphatic, MSK and liver transplant interventions.
