Personal Statement
My clinical interests focus on providing quality education and compassionate patient centered care to improve health outcomes for children and adolescents with diabetes and endocrine conditions. As co-lead of the Education Diabetes Care Process Team, a multidisciplinary quality improvement team, we focus on continually creating, adapting, and implementing educational materials and processes to improve diabetes care, especially related to technology and remote monitoring, medical nutrition therapy, cardiovascular screening. I am also interested in furthering faculty education and development and peer mentoring.
