About
My philosophy of care goes beyond the evidence-based medical and surgical care I provide within the walls of the clinic, the operating room, or the hospital in which we meet. It involves a commitment to treat each and every patient as an individual with compassion, respect, and empathy while providing an inclusive and comprehensive approach to your gynecological care. My philosophy is also focused on patient and family centered care in which we share medical knowledge, we review all possible options, and we then make the best medical decision for you and your family. I also believe that every human being is beautifully unique and everyone deserves access to medical care and treatment. I am sensitive to the individual preferences, beliefs, and diversity of each patient and their family members which make our world shine brighter and more colorful.
I believe that as a physician my role is not to simply prescribe medications and treat an illness but to also provide education, confidence, and self-awareness to our future generation of women. As a pediatric and adolescent gynecologist, I see patients from newborns to young adults up to 21 years old. Multiple cognitive, behavioral, and physical changes occur during this time period as an infant or a young girl becomes an adult woman. It is such a wonderful transformation which gives me the unique opportunity to guide, educate, and empower young girls and women in every step of the way. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be a gynecologist during this special and magical journey into adulthood.
