About Christopher Graf
As a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer in the sports medicine clinic it is my goal to understand each patient’s unique situation. This understanding allows our team to provide a holistic diagnosis and care plan that will meet each patient’s individual needs. My role within the clinical care team includes providing a detailed history and preliminary evaluation, brace fitting, gate training and home exercise programs. It is also my mission that our patients receive unparalleled service before, during and after their visit. This includes efficient use of time during visits as well as an open communication policy in which patients and other members of their sports medicine team (school athletic trainer, physical therapist, etc.) are provided prompt communication through a direct access line to the clinic.
Prior to Texas Children’s I spent 7 years working as an athletic trainer in the high school setting. This experience allows me to fully relate to the pediatric and adolescent patients that we treat.
Clinical Interests: Injuries of the knee, shoulder, overuse Injuries and educating patient and their families on proper sports periodization and specialization to avoid injury.
