About

Chimira Peacock is employed at Texas Children’s Specialty Care at Clear Lake. Her primary role as clinical focuses on the musculoskeletal system in the pediatric sports population. As a secondary role, she conducts research on postural-specific scoliosis exercises in the pediatric population. Since beginning her career as a physical therapist in 2011, Chimira has developed a passion as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students.

Clinical Interests:

ACL rehabilitation, treatment of overhead athletes, treatment of runners, Movement System Impairment (MSI) classification

Research Interests:

ACL prevention, treatment of scoliosis with postural-specific exercise

*C1 and L1 certified therapists are able to treat idiopathic adolescent scoliosis

*C2 certified therapists are able to treat idiopathic adolescent scoliosis, post-surgical patients, adult scoliosis, and treat with group sessions
