About

Dr. Chelsea Vrana completed her pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training in 2023 and she served as the 2022-2023 Chief Fellow for Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center. She is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Vrana first obtained a degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Subsequently, Dr. Vrana completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma and pediatric residency training at Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Children's Hospital. Throughout her training, she has had the opportunity to provide care for many children with a wide variety of cancer and blood disorders.

Dedicated to the field, Dr. Vrana continues to focus on fighting childhood cancer and aims to improve the lives of the patients and families that she serves.

Her area of clinical interest is in childhood leukemia and she is a member of the Leukemia Team at Texas Children's Cancer Center.
