About

The practice of pediatric gastroenterology is my passion. I knew early on while attending medical school at the University of Texas at Houston that caring for children would be my future. Later in training I would discover that my ideal crossroads of intellectual challenge and professional gratification met at gastroenterology, a field of which I have a deep personal connection. After completing my pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas, I returned to my hometown of San Antonio, where I practiced from 2007-2023.

I provide care for babies, children and adolescents with all types of digestive problems. I enjoy the wide variety of general gastroenterology. Keeping current on the constant developments in clinical practice allows me to provide my patients and their families with multiple options.
