Brandi Runnels is a certified physician assistant at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center, providing care to patients admitted in the Hematology-Oncology Inpatient Unit. She feels privileged to take care of this unique population of patients. In order to achieve her goal of providing every patient she meets with thoughtful and compassionate care, she strives to utilize all members of the health care team and incorporate evidence-based medicine practices to achieve collaborative goals with the medical team, patient and families.
Prior to her role with the Cancer and Hematology Center, Ms. Runnels provided care as a physician assistant within the Critical Care Medicine department at Texas Children's Hospital.
