About
Anna has always had a passion for helping children and is honored to be apart of Texas Children’s diverse, caring, and growing anesthesia team. Anna realizes that every patient and family presents to surgery with specific needs, and therefore, is dedicated to using the latest evidence to specifically tailor every anesthetic to better manage patients of all developmental levels with a wide variety of medical conditions.
Anna’s clinical interests include:
1.) hemodynamic management of children with congenital heart disease
2.) decreasing preoperative anxiety to reduce the incidence of emergence delirium
3.) multi-modal analgesic techniques to reduce postoperative pain
