About

Amber believes in the importance of building a relationship and getting to know each child, discovering what brings joy, and figuring out how to improve their function and mobility to be able to optimally enjoy these activities.

Clinical Interests:

Amber is a licensed Physical Therapist in the Physical Medicine and Rehab Department at Texas Children’s Hospital, Medical Center. She specializes in lymphedema management, acute outpatient rehabilitation, spina bifida intervention, Torticollis, myofascial release, and other developmental delays. Amber is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She provides consults in the Vascular Anomalies Clinic where she has also assisted with development of Texas Children’s Hospital “Decongestive Therapy/Lymphedema Management Program.” Amber is a part of the multidisciplinary Acute Outpatient Rehabilitation Program (AORP) which fosters a holistic continuum of care for patients recently transitioned from acute inpatient medical management to outpatient intervention. She provides ongoing goal specific therapy is provided in conjunction with guidance and recommendations for orthotics, equipment, school, home, and community re-integration. In addition, Amber works within TCH Spina Bifida Clinic where she assists with research and provides consults for a variety of diagnoses with developmental delay, impaired mobility, pain, and activity restrictions.
