Get to know Alan F. Riley, MD
Dr. Riley’s clinical practice focuses on outpatient and inpatient care of children and adolescents with acquired and congenital heart disease. At Texas Children’s Hospital, he is Associate Medical Director for the Acute Care Cardiology Inpatient Unit and is a faculty member in the echocardiography laboratory.
Dr. Riley is the Co-Director for the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Education at Baylor College of Medicine School of Medicine. His academic interests also include evaluating the ability of innovative uses of ultrasound to guide management of children with heart disease.
He is a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
