Provider Priority Line

The Department of Surgery is pleased to introduce a new Provider Priority Line connecting physicians and advanced practice providers to our on-call surgical attendings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The following surgical divisions are now accessible:

• Neurosurgery
• Ophthalmology
• Orthopedics
• Otolaryngology
• Pediatric Surgery
• Plastic Surgery
• Urology

Providers will have direct access to ask surgeons about specific conditions, tests to order, or next steps for patients.

This line should not be used for questions regarding scheduling, referral processes, specific patient follow-up or EpicCare Link.

Urgent calls will be returned within 15 minutes, while non-urgent calls will be returned within 3 hours.
