Research

Physicians on the pediatric neuro-oncology research program work closely together to improve the cure rates for children with brain tumors by using the latest treatments available.

At the same time, many in the team are engaged in a vigorous pursuit of the various molecular pathways in the brain by which these tumors develop. Understanding these pathways may lead to innovative therapies and cure while minimizing the side effects that are so often encountered with current treatments.
