COVID-19 Vaccine & Booster Scheduling
At Texas Children’s, we are committed to the safety and well-being of our patients—especially during this critical time.
Schedule your primary vaccine doses, additional doses, and newly approved booster doses below.
Select your age group to show which vaccines are available
1st Dose Scheduling Pfizer (Children 6 months – 4 years old)
For children who will be between the ages of 6 months and 4 years old at the time of the appointment.
Offerings at hospital locations (Medical Center, West Campus, and The Woodlands)
1st Dose Scheduling Moderna (Children 6 months – 5 years old)
For children who will be between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old at the time of the appointment.
- Offerings only at the hospital locations (Pavilion for Women, West Campus, and The Woodlands)
Pfizer Bivalent Booster Dose Scheduling (Children 6 months – 4 years old)
Pfizer booster shots are available for individuals who are fully vaccinated and two months have passed since receiving a third dose.
Moderna Bivalent Booster Dose Scheduling (Children 6 months – 5 years old)
Moderna booster shots are available for individuals who are fully vaccinated and two months have passed since receiving a second dose.
Moderna Additional Dose for Immunocompromised (Children 6 months – 5 years old)
Moderna additional vaccine dose is available for children who are fully vaccinated with a Moderna vaccine, and 28 days have passed since receiving a second dose:
- Children 6 months – 5 years of age and are considered immune compromised (from a medical condition or treatment).
1st Dose Scheduling Pfizer (Children 5-11 years old)
For children who will be between the ages of 5 years old and 11 years old at the time of the appointment.
1st Dose Scheduling Moderna (Children 6-11 years old)
For children who will be between the ages of 5 years old and 11 years old at the time of the appointment.
Pfizer Bivalent Booster Dose Scheduling (Children 5-11 years old)
Pfizer booster shots are available for individuals who are fully vaccinated and two months have passed since receiving a second dose.
Moderna Bivalent Booster Dose Scheduling (Children 6-11 years old)
Moderna booster shots are available for individuals who are fully vaccinated and two months have passed since receiving a second dose.
Pfizer Additional Dose Scheduling for immunocompromised persons (5 - 11 years old)
Pfizer additional vaccine dose is available for children who are fully vaccinated with a Pfizer vaccine, and 28 days have passed since receiving a second dose:
- Children 5 - 11 years of age and are considered immune compromised (from a medical condition or treatment).
1st Dose Scheduling (12 years and older)
For adolescents/adults who will be at least 12 years old at the time of the appointment.
1st Dose Scheduling Novavax (18 years and older)
For individuals who will be at least 18 years old at the time of the appointment.
Pfizer Bivalent Booster Dose Scheduling (12 years and older)
Pfizer bivalent (updated) booster shots are available for individuals who are fully vaccinated and 2 months have passed since receiving their second dose OR since their last monovalent (original) booster dose. For individuals 12 years and older receiving Pfizer, the monovalent (original) vaccine is now authorized only for the primary series and the bivalent (updated) vaccine is authorized only as a booster.
Pfizer bivalent booster shots are also available for persons 18 years and older who received a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine and at least two months have passed.
Moderna Bivalent Booster Scheduling (18 years and older)
Moderna bivalent (updated) booster shots are available to individuals who are fully vaccinated and two months have passed since receiving a second dose OR since their last monovalent (original) booster dose. For individuals 18 years and older receiving Moderna, the monovalent (original) vaccine is now authorized only for the primary series and the bivalent (updated) vaccine is authorized only as a booster.

Moderna additional vaccine dose is available for individuals who are fully vaccinated with a Moderna vaccine, and 28 days have passed since receiving a second dose:
- Individuals 18 years of age and older and are considered immune compromised (from a medical condition or treatment).
