Q&A: Relapse & Developmental Therapeutics
The Developmental Therapeutics Program at Texas Children's Cancer Center focuses on the development of novel therapies for children with recurrent or refractory cancer.
We work closely with the Pediatric Center for Personal Cancer Genomics and Therapeutics and the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy at Texas Children’s Hospital to identify personalized, unique treatment options.
The Developmental Therapeutics Program includes a comprehensive laboratory-based research program focused on the identification of new agents and a state-of-the-art clinical trials program. Our program has a wide array of clinical trials for children with relapsed or recurrent cancers.
Additionally, we actively participate in the Children’s Oncology Group, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium and the Therapeutic Advances in Childhood Leukemia & Lymphoma consortium. Physicians and families may contact the Developmental Therapeutics Program by calling 832-824-4570 or 1-800-Cancer9 (1-800-226-2379). To learn more, visit here.
