HOUSTON (September 14, 2023) Texas Children’s Hospital is proud to announce that Texas Children’s Pediatrics was named one of the best organizations in the 2023 Austin American Statesman Best of Austin Community’s Choice Awards.

The Best of Austin Community’s Choice Awards celebrates the best businesses and organizations in central Texas. Open to the public, readers in the community first nominate and then vote for their favorite companies in more than 170 categories. The program starts with public nominations and from the top five nominees in each category, the voting round determines the finalists and winners.

The rankings will be featured in a special edition of the Austin American Statesman— both print and online.

Many of our Texas Children’s Pediatrics pediatricians have been part of the Austin community for more than 20 years. Texas Children’s Pediatrics is excited to continue partnering with  board-certified, expert pediatricians who are now backed by one of the best hospitals in the nation. From a child’s first well check to adolescent physicals, and integrated behavioral health support, Texas Children’s Pediatrics continues offering comprehensive care to Austin families.

“We are incredibly proud to have received top-tier nominations from the communities we serve in Austin,” said Daniel Gollins, President of Texas Children’s Pediatrics. “Texas Children’s Pediatrics has been caring for patients throughout Central Texas for many years now, and it is gratifying to know that so many Austin families appreciate the exceptional, best-in-class services we are providing at more than 20 pediatric practices in the greater Austin area.”

Texas Children's Pediatrics is currently serving Austin families with more than 20 locations offering pediatric, urgent care and specialty care services around the city. Furthermore, Texas Children’s Hospital North Austin Campus — a state-of-the-art, $485 million, top-tier hospital for children and women led by the finest pediatric and women’s specialists in the nation — will open in February 2024.

“The Austin American Statesman Community’s Choice Awards are especially meaningful to us because the decision ultimately rests with the families we serve,” said Dan DiPrisco, Executive Vice President at Texas Children’s Hospital. “Our mission is to create a healthier future for children and women throughout our global community by leading in patient care, education and research and we are so grateful to know that the local communities in Austin appreciate the work we are doing.”
