Preventive Outreach and Education

While caring for children’s illnesses and advancing new cures remains at the core of Texas Children’s Hospital’s mission, it has become increasingly important for the hospital to take an active and multifaceted role in illness and injury prevention. The result is an integrated platform of programs aimed at addressing many of the risks to children’s health, safety and well-being in the community today and at minimizing the need for hospitalization and treatment.
