Why is patient satisfaction important?

Texas Children’s remains committed to improving our patients’ experience by continuing to collect family feedback in a variety of ways and by measuring against both our past performance and the performance of other leading children’s and women’s hospitals. Our goal is to continuously improve.

What does patient satisfaction measure?

Texas Children’s Hospital is committed to providing a high-quality service to help ensure a positive patient and family experience. Patient satisfaction measures how our patients and their families experience the care they receive.

What can you do as a parent or caregiver?

Texas Children’s Hospital highly values feedback from patients and families. All improvement efforts are directly related to the feedback received through the patient satisfaction survey, which is administered anonymously by Press Ganey, a third-party company. We encourage patients and families to complete the survey to help us improve our services to you.  In addition, you may immediately report feedback and concerns directly to the Family Advocacy department by calling 832-824-1919.
