Texas Children’s Pediatrics recommends the pediatric vaccine schedule approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for all eligible children, which includes the following 12 vaccines:
1. Measles, Mumps and Rubella — MMR
2. Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis — DTaP/Tdap
3. H. Influenza type B — HIB
4. Hepatitis A
5. Hepatitis B
6. Meningococcal meningitis — MCV4
7. Pneumococcus — PCV13
8. Chickenpox (varicella-zoster virus)
9. Polio — IPV
10. Rotavirus
11. Influenza (Flu)
12. Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
