Speech therapy close
to home is just what the doctor ordered
Kelli knew
she shouldn't compare her son's speech development with that of other
toddlers', so she fought the urge to fall into that dangerous trap.
And as Landon
hit every milestone except speech, Kelli and her husband tried to be
patient.
But when Landon
was almost 2 and still wasn't talking, she realized it
was time to act. That's when the family decided to seek help from Texas Children's.

Healthy
tips to build healthy kids
Take a walk with your kids
and listen. Participate in family activities – the more your
family does together, the more you'll have to talk about. Talk about
your day. More importantly, ask your children about their days –
what they did, what they thought – and really listen. Frequent
positive family conversations lead to trust and support. |
