About this Event

The Texas Children’s Professional Day Summit is a Nursing-led enterprise wide event to enhance knowledge and skill application for healthcare teams to provide the highest quality care to children and women to patients and across the community.

For all conference participants, there will be an opportunity for discussion of the current issues involved in healthcare trends, as well as time to, exchange ideas among participants, and to share knowledge and information about how best to plan for quality care and foster clinician wellness.

Target Audience

Registered Nurses, social workers, community health care providers, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, dietitians, case managers, counselors, and physicians in internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, and psychiatry.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the conference, participants should be able to:

  • Identify strategies for enhancing quality care across health systems
  • Explain the essentials of wellness among the inter-professional team of clinicians in health care delivery
  • Share knowledge related to a culture of fostering safety and resilience across health systems  
  • Disseminate evidence-based practices and research-based solutions to enhance clinician, caregiver and patient well-being.

Learning Outcome

At the conclusion of the conference, 80% of participants will identify at least one expected change or enhancement they intend to implement into their professional practice related to improving quality health care and clinician wellness.
