Jaylene is an acute care-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Texas Children's Hospital. Jaylene has experience in pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric primary/urgent care, pediatric behavioral health, NICU and newborn nursery. She is committed to advocating for her patients and helping them reach their personal goals as well as improving their function and quality of life.

Advocating for patients and their families is of the utmost importance to me. I believe in providing evidence-based care to ensure the best possible outcomes for my patients. I believe in educating and empowering patients as well as their families in order for them to be active partners in their plan of care. I am committed to learning and staying up to date on the latest evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes for my patients. Overall, my philosophy of care is rooted in empathy, advocacy, and a commitment to providing high quality, evidence-based care to enhance the wellbeing and outcomes of my patients and their families.
