Young Women's Clinic
Texas Children’s Young Woman's Clinic specializes in diagnosis and treatment of young women, 10 to 25 years of age, with menstrual problems and infections of the genital tract. We see patients with menstrual problems including irregular, absent or heavy periods.
Routine annual gynecologic examinations are also performed. Additionally, the clinic provides contraceptive services for healthy, developmentally delayed and chronically ill adolescents. Female athletes and women with weight and menstrual problems are a special interest of the group. Patients diagnosed with more complex problems may be referred to Texas Children’s Gynecology Clinic for treatment.
