Texas Children’s Transplant Services

Transplant services supports transplantation of the kidney, liver and lung. Heart, bone marrow and stem cell transplant services take place in other areas of the hospital. Transplant Services works with several clinic locations within Texas Children's Hospital to meet the needs of pediatric patients with or near end-stage organ failure.

To facilitate the pre-transplant evaluation and post-operative management of these patients, transplant care is coordinated and provided through the appropriate medical clinic. Patients are seen by self- or physician-referral.
