Cancellation Policy:  A written request for a full refund must be received by Texas Children's Hospital no later than 21 days prior to the start of the course.  Written requests later than 21 days will result in a 50% refund; 72 hours or less no refund.  Tuition may only be applied toward another Texas Children's Hospital sponsored course within 6 months of cancellation. Courses where Texas Children's Hospital is not the primary sponsor do not qualify. Texas Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel the event 10 days prior to the course date and assumes no responsibility for pre-purchased tickets.

Pelvic Physical Therapy II
July 24-26, 2009
This 3-day course is intended to advance the physical therapist’s examination, evaluation, and intervention skills for complex pelvic floor conditions. Lab sessions will focus on a refinement of vaginal exam skills and will introduce rectal examination. Sensory Integration and Self-Regulation in Early Intervention and Preschool
August 14-15, 2009
This workshop is designed to integrate current thinking about sensory integration with ideas of behavioral organization and family centered care for the young child. Participants will learn a new framework understanding individual differences in sensory based self-regulation based on sensory integration theory. How this model can be integrated across discipline boundaries to help foster goodness-of-fit during play and therapeutic interactions will be highlighted. Mealtime Miseries: Management of Complex Feeding Issues

Evidence Based Practice of Sensory Integration

Aquatic Integration (AI)

Aquatic Integration (AI) is a new approach to hydrotherapy which combines eastern meridian and point work with myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and breath work. This work is well suited for the physical therapist; massage therapist, adaptive physical educators, occupational therapists, chiropractors and somatic therapists working with neurological or musculoskeletal pathologies and rehabilitation.
