The dermatology clinic provides diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care for patients with both common and rare pediatric dermatological conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, vascular and other birthmarks (including infantile hemangiomas and PHACE syndrome), moles, vitiligo, genetic skin diseases, and skin manifestations of systemic diseases such as lupus erythematosus and diabetes. In addition to the skin, the clinic's doctors also specialize in disorders of the hair and nails.

The clinic's physicians are skilled in laser and skin surgery. The clinic also offers a narrow-band UVB phototherapy unit, used to treat a variety of skin disorders.

As the largest pediatric dermatology clinic in Texas and one of the largest in the world, the staff sees more than 5,800 patients a year. Patients are seen through self-referrals or physician referrals.
