“Service Children with Special Needs”
- Located in Houston in the Greenway Plaza area serving children with special needs, covering a broad spectrum of special needs, disabilities and disorders including the autism spectrum
- A small not-for-profit school started in March of 2006 dedicated to maintaining a small 3:1 student teacher ratio
- Children are grouped by their cognitive ability versus physical age, but children of all ages are accepted. The population is both verbal and non-verbal allowing utilization of assistive technologies and encouraging verbal communication skills while working with staff and individual therapists.
