After close to 40 years as a part of Texas Children’s Hospital, the Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery Division has established an international reputation for its expertise in a number of subspecialty areas of plastic surgery.
Our surgeons utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to combat the unique challenges presented by certain conditions that require plastic surgery. Our multidisciplinary care teams include specialists from different services (including Ear, Nose and Throat, Dermatology, Radiology, Neurosurgery, Speech Therapy and Genetics, among others) who treat and manage patients in specialized clinics:

- Pediatric Hand Surgery: treatment of congenital hand and upper-extremity anomalies, as well as those as a result of trauma or infection.
- Peripheral Nerve and Microvascular Surgery: treatment of peripheral nerve and brachial plexus injuries
- General Pediatric Plastic Surgery: treatment of moles & cysts, traumatic injuries, and complex wounds
- Aesthetic Plastic Surgery: treatment of aesthetic issues using a variety of procedures including body contouring, otoplasty (prominent ears), and breast reduction
