A nationally and internationally recognized destination for neurological care

Texas Children’s Neurosurgery Program is a nationally and internationally recognized destination for outstanding, innovative and attentive neurologic care for infants and children with neurological diseases. The team of our Neurosurgery Program is committed to setting the standard for the surgical treatment of infants and children with neurological diseases and to pioneering innovative therapies for the developing nervous system.

With 10 full-time pediatric neurosurgery faculty, we are the largest and one of the most active groups of its kind in the U.S. More than 1,300 major neurosurgical cases are performed annually at Texas Children’s that span the range of pediatric neurologic conditions.

In addition to our fellows and faculty members, our team is made up of dedicated neurosurgery residents, advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses (RNs), staff and research coordinators, all working together to provide exceptional care and support for our patients and their families.

We investigate neurologic conditions for which we have unique insight and access.

Our neurosurgeons are each focused on subspecialty innovation in epilepsy, tumor, fetal, hydrocephalus, endoscopy, craniofacial, neurovascular, congenital, movement disorders, spine and trauma, along with brain tumor, epilepsy and fetal surgery programs.

We train the future leaders in pediatric neurosurgery.

We have a highly competitive and sought-after one-year clinical accredited post-residency fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery.
