Cancellation Policy:  A written request for a full refund must be received by Texas Children's Hospital no later than 21 days prior to the start of the course.  Written requests later than 21 days will result in a 50% refund; 72 hours or less no refund.  Tuition may only be applied toward another Texas Children's Hospital sponsored course within 6 months of cancellation. Courses where Texas Children's Hospital is not the primary sponsor do not qualify. Texas Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel the event 10 days prior to the course date and assumes no responsibility for pre-purchased tickets.

Neuro-Development Treatment (NDT) Approach to Treatment of the Infant and Young Child

This three day workshop is designed for physical, occupational, and speech/language pathologists
working with infants and children from birth- 3 years of age who have known or suspected neuro-motor disorders such as Cerebral Palsy. Lecture material will cover current concepts in Neuro-Developmental Treatment ( NDT) including theory, significant aspects of typical and atypical motor development, and principles of assessment and treatment planning.

Aquatic Integration (AI) is a new approach to hydrotherapy which combines eastern meridian and point work with myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and breath work. This work is well suited for the physical therapist; massage therapist, adaptive physical educators, occupational therapists, chiropractors and somatic therapists working with neurological or musculoskeletal pathologies and rehabilitation. This 2-day course will prepare participants to become certified infant massage instructors through Loving Touch.
