Texas Children’s Lactation Program
and Mother’s Own Milk Bank are rental stations for Medela®
Symphony®, Classic™ and Lactina®
breast pumps and Babyweigh™ scales.
Breastfeeding products are also available
for purchase.

Symphony or Classic pumps: $60 per
month
Lactina pumps: $40 per month

First month’s fee due at the time
of rental

Equipment may be rented for as
long as needed

An invoice is sent prior to the
end of the rental month and must be
paid before the rental month begins

If equipment is returned before
the end of the rental month, the
rental fee is prorated, and the
balance refunded with the deposit
refund
A $100 security deposit is required
for all rental equipment.
$20 will be charged if the equipment
is not returned clean.

If the equipment is returned
early*, the rental fee will be
prorated and refunded along with the
rental deposit. Equipment returned
before two weeks (14 days) from
rental date will be charged half of
the monthly fee

Refunds are paid by check and
available for amounts more than $10.
Please allow three to four weeks for
check processing.
A $5 a day late fee will be charged
in addition to the rental fee if you
do not:

The Milk Bank will accept payment
of exact cash, check or credit card

Checks are payable to Texas
Children's Hospital

The Milk Bank accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and
Discover Card. Diner’s Club cards
are not accepted

Credit card payments can
be made by phone to continue the rental
beyond the first month

Return equipment to the Milk Bank
during regular business hours (8
a.m. to 5 p.m., daily including
weekends/holidays)

You must receive a return receipt
from the Milk Bank. You are
responsible for the return of the
equipment to the Milk Bank and it is
not considered returned until you
receive a return receipt

Please do not leave equipment in
any other area of the hospital
