CANCER CENTER
Gabrielle
diagnosed at 10 months,
acute lymphoid leukemia

Ten-month-old Gabrielle was rushed to Texas Children’s Hospital when her pediatrician recognized the symptoms of leukemia.

Upon her arrival, the pediatric cancer physicians at Texas Children’s diagnosed her with acute lymphoid leukemia. Gabby underwent yearlong therapy based on intense chemotherapy treatments that has since proven highly effective. Gabby is now healthy, happy and cancer-free.

"We don’t know how Gabby got such a deadly cancer. All we know is, without Texas Children’s she wouldn’t have survived it," said Rhonda, her mother.
