Services include an evaluation to
determine eligibility. A parent may request testing through their
local home school or special education office. Once a request for
testing is signed, dated and the parent has given signed consent
(usually within 5 days of the request), the school district has 60
days to test and another 30 days to meet (ARD) and determine the
child’s eligibility for service.
