Texas Children's Maternity Center one step closer
to becoming a reality

HOUSTON (Nov. 11, 2007) – The Crowne Plaza, a 13-story hotel at 6701 S. Main in the Texas Medical Center, was demolished early this morning by controlled implosion. It is making way for the Texas Children's Maternity Center, which is scheduled to open in 2010.
